Hypothermia is a very serious condition in which twenty to thirty minutes of exposure in a cold environment can result in a core body temperature drop to below 35 degrees Celsius. This cooling, if not checked, can lead to disorientation, unconsciousness and death. Cold water saps heat away from the body 25 times faster than air of the same temperature.

Currently if a person works over the sea they are required to wear a personal flotation system that will keep them afloat in the water but fails to protect the user against heat loss.

We have developed a simple to use technology that mitigates the effects of hypothermia, while promoting comfort and mental well-being in a survival situation. Twenty to thirty minutes of exposure in a cold environment can result in a core body temperature drop to below 35 degrees Celsius. Our product reduces core heat loss and actively transfers heat to vital organs. Unlike alternative solutions that require the use of several layers of clothing to reduce heat loss, our approach focuses on adding heat to the users core for when it is needed most.

We see our product being used in a wide variety of operations. Our mission is ‘’to equip and support personnel whom operate in harsh, hostile cold environments with the best equipment available, ensuring the user to operate safely, effectively and efficiently; whether this is on land, sea or in the air.
